Happy with just basic comforts in a beautiful natural setting? Come and stay at Oskari
or Matilda! Here you have no flush toilet and no shower; instead, you have a traditional
wood-burning sauna for bathing and a clear blue lake for dipping in.
Oskari has a lovely stretch of private beach with panoramic lake views and a row boat
for enjoying the waters. You can row for exercise or for fun, go fishing or on a picnic.
Oskari is an old-time cottage with no running water and suits those who don’t mind some
daily exercise, such as fetching drinking water from next door and carrying buckets of
lake water for bathing. The cottage has one sitting/dining/sleeping room with cooking
corner; the bright-coloured interiors are a bit retro in the spirit of the 70’s. Outdoor
toilet (‘privy’) at the back yard.
